Wayne made his DJ'ing debut at London’s infamous Red Heart party in April 1996, performing alongside Grace Jones to a dancefloor of 3,000 people. However, it was his nine-year residency at London’s world’s famous Heaven nightclub that made Wayne a household name. Wayne has gone on to play huge festivals all over the world including Sydney Mardi Gras (4x), Sydney Harbour Party (3x), Sydney Gay Games, Berlin Love Parade, World Pride, and many more.
Averse to categorization in any one particular musical style, Wayne takes crowds on a musical journey starting with house, anthemic vocal house and bringing the energy, percussive beats and the uplifting infectious riffs seamlessly together to create a melodic high energy journey. His sets are notorious for being filled with his own productions, many of which remain unheard unless you get to experience on of his marathon sets. From the 150bpm Hard House sounds of the raves to the funky house sounds of classic house. He is a DJ/Producer that has no boundaries and no limits.
In 2011 Wayne launched his own digital label, Bennu Recordings. A platform for Wayne to release some of the mixes produced exclusively for his DJ sets. The labels first projects have included tracks with Melissa Totten, Shauna Jensen and "I Just Wanna Dance (2012)" with Alison Jiear, a track made famous by the Wayne G remix in 2004.
