GARÇON GARÇON are Nathan Mahon (vocals/guitar) and Nick Tsirimokos (synths/production), an electro pop band, from Sydney, Australia. Combining new wave synths with a dash of blatant pop, Garçon Garçon write intelligent songs with catchy hooks. Coming from different musical worlds of classical and indie rock, the duo conjure a complex sound that fuses electro with an 80’s teen film feel. Their unique brand of electro pop has them being tipped as the "band to watch" in 2012.
Their two early demos "Maybe Tonight" and "Take Me Out" generated a huge buzz on the Internet in late 2010. Music blogs jumped on the duo’s 80’s/electro sound with major internationals such as ‘Big Stereo’, ‘Pop Justice’ and ‘Arjan Writes’ all featuring the pair.
In early 2011, the boys launched their debut single "Stay in Touch" via tastemaker blog ‘it’s the money shot’ in the U.S, and it quickly spread like wild-fire across the blogosphere. Their debut music video for the single followed shortly after and crashed popular U.S blog MuuMuse, due to overwhelming traffic from fans on its release. It was also featured on the Huffington Post as one of the top videos for 2011 alongside major artists like Lady Gaga.
Their debut release, simply titled is available now on iTunes. MTV Buzzworthy (USA) said, “EP is all shades of genius and demands your full attention.”
